Entry level position with flexible schedules during the school year and full-time hours available over the summer and during school breaks. Start Date:
Training to start a minimum of 2 weeks from hire
Commitment:
All candidates would be making a commitment to a position for one year at a minimum
  • but availability can be modified as needed throughout duration of employment.
Hours:
Ideal candidates will be available to work the following hours Monday
  • Friday:
    Before Care
  • 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. (during school year) After Care
  • 3 p.
m. to 6:15 p.m. (during school year) Full-time availability 6 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. during school breaks and over the summer
Description of Responsibilities:
Teaching God's Word through stories, song and teachable moments Plan, implement and supervise classroom lesson plans that are consistent with the mission of JLU Child Care. Knowledge and compliance of all state regulations governing the operation of the center. Communicating with parents during parent drop off and pick-up Cleaning the classroom and equipment throughout the day as needed Caring for basic needs of children including serving meals, caring for injuries and supporting emotional needs.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
HS diploma is required at minimum Experience related to caring for children, preferably in a childcare setting Desire to share God's love to children and families Pay & Benefits $16.50

00 per hour to start Starting pay rate determined by education, experience and availability Raises are given to all employees twice per year Attendance bonus of $25 per week given for perfect attendance.
