New York State Certification in Science, Grades 7-12 preferred Our Catholic school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Middle School Science/STEM Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science education, a passion for engaging middle school students, and an interest in incorporating STEM concepts, hands-on learning, and real-world applications into the classroom. The school would prefer a candidate who is Catholic and committed to supporting and fostering the Catholic faith and mission of the school . Responsibilities Teach engaging and age-appropriate middle school science and STEM lessons. Develop hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences and projects. Create a positive, structured, and faith-centered classroom environment. Assess student learning and provide meaningful feedback. Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to support student growth. Integrate Catholic values and the school's mission into daily instruction and interactions with students. Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love of learning. Qualifications New York State Science Certification, Grades 7-12 Preferred Bachelor's degree in Science Education, Education, Science, or a related field. Experience teaching middle school science and/or STEM is preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
