Summer Camp/After School Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic School Program Staff to join our team. This role involves working closely with students in various educational and recreational settings, providing support and guidance to foster a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess skills in classroom management, teaching, and behavior management. Responsibilities Facilitate engaging educational activities and programs for students. Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment. Provide support to students with diverse needs, including those requiring special education assistance. Development of lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to student interests and abilities. Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to parents and educators as necessary. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during program activities. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience. Participate in training sessions related to first aid, child development, and educational best practices. Qualifications Experience working with children in various capacities such as childcare, tutoring, or camp settings. Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques. Basic knowledge and capability of completing lesson plans Ability to provide first aid when necessary; First Aide training and CPR will be required if hired. Experience in sports coaching, theater, or other extracurricular activities is beneficial. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff. Afternoon availability is a MUST. After School Program requires availability from 3:00pm-6:30 pm. Summer Camp hours require
