Our beautiful campus is right next to Llewellyn Farms Park, with scenic bike paths and easy access to the lively districts of Old and New Dublin. We're excited to welcome a joyful, mission-aligned educator to our warm and professional team. Pearlily Montessori is looking for a dedicated, AMS-credentialed Early Childhood Guide (or someone on the credentialing path) to lead or assist one of our 3-6 classrooms. We want a joyful role model who's committed to educating the whole child. You'll be part of a collaborative team known for its warmth, professionalism, and dedication to the Montessori philosophy.
Key Responsibilities Prepared Environment:
Keep a meticulously prepared 3-6 Montessori environment that inspires independence, concentration, and deep learning.
Individualized Instruction:
Observe and track each child's development to provide personalized, sequential Montessori lessons across all curriculum areas.
Global Citizenship & Language:
Integrate rich cultural, geographic, and linguistic lessons into the curriculum to foster a broad, global outlook. High intercultural competence and fluency in a second language (like Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin, or Italian) are a big plus.
Spiritual & Moral Leadership:
Gently guide children in their moral and spiritual development, modeling Christian values and a spirit of service in harmony with our Catholic philosophy of education.
Community & Family Partnership:
Keep open, professional communication with families through regular updates, parent-teacher conferences, and parent education events to build a strong home-school partnership.
Team Collaboration:
Work effectively with the team to ensure a harmonious, peaceful, and joyful school culture.
Key Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree required.
Credentialing:
AMS Montessori Early Childhood (3-6) credential preferred. We'll consider candidates currently enrolled in an accredited Montessori training program or those willing to start training.
Mission Alignment:
A deep respect for, or alignment with, a Catholic philosophy of education and a commitment to nurturing the child's spiritual life and character development.
Experience:
Proven experience working with young children in an early childhood or Montessori setting.
Communication Skills:
High intercultural competence with strong English communication skills; multilingual skills are highly valued.
