Job Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible teachers to lead and support children in daily activities. Teachers will serve as positive role models while ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage with children in daily activities, including arts & crafts, sports, outdoor adventures, and team-building exercises. Foster a positive and inclusive environment where children feel safe, respected, and encouraged. Lead and participate in games, songs, and classroom activities. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by following McFarlin & DHS policies and procedures. Assist in resolving conflicts and providing guidance to children as needed. Communicate effectively with fellow teachers, children, and parents. Assist with setup, cleanup, and transitions between activities. Act as a role model by demonstrating positive behavior and enthusiasm. Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary (training provided).
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old. Previous experience working with children (babysitting, tutoring, coaching, or prior camp experience) is preferred but not required. Energetic, responsible, and patient with a passion for youth development. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work well in a team and take initiative when needed. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Must pass a background check.
