Abiqua Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-6:00 PM Hiring Immediately Sweet Pea Learning Center is looking for a dependable, positive, and experienced After-School Teacher & Closing Lead to join our Abiqua team! This position primarily works in our one-year-old Wobbler classroom each afternoon. Our ideal candidate is a confident and caring early childhood educator who communicates well, takes initiative, and can help our center finish each day organized, clean, and running smoothly.

Responsibilities Include:

Working daily with our one-year-old Wobbler classroom Providing nurturing, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care Assisting with infant care as needed Overseeing afternoon classroom and center transitions Communicating professionally and positively with families and staff Helping coordinate end-of-day routines and pickups Ensuring classrooms and common areas are properly cleaned and prepared for the following day Supporting staff and stepping in where needed during closing hours Maintaining a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for every child We're Looking for

Someone Who:

Is teacher qualified Is extremely reliable, punctual, and consistent Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills Is comfortable communicating directly with parents and families Can confidently oversee transitions and closing routines Works well with infants and young toddlers Is organized and willing to help with cleaning and closing responsibilities Brings a positive attitude and is a strong, supportive leader for the team This is an important closing position, so we are specifically looking for someone who can be counted on to consistently work 3:00 PM-6:00 PM, Monday through Friday . We are hiring immediately and would love to meet someone who is ready to become a positive and dependable part of the Sweet Pea team!

Pay:

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
