Job Description:
Wattsburg Area School District is looking for a Middle School Mathematics Teacher.
Shift:
Full time, regular school schedule.
Salary Range:
Minimum of $52,263 based on degree(s).
Benefits:
Full employer paid medical.
Start:
2026-2027 school year.
Qualifications:
Valid Mathematics 7-12 (Code 6800) or Middle Level Mathematics 6-9 (Code 2860) or Grades 4-8 (All subjects 4-6, Mathematics 7-8) (Code 3100-01) certification. Strong organizational Effective written and oral communication Self-motivated and adept at problem solving and critical Ability to work as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaches assigned students/classes the approved Engages students actively and meaningfully through lesson design, instruction, and Identifies and implements appropriate instructional practices and methods to meet students varying ability levels. Uses an appropriate variety and number of assessments to determine student academic Provides written feedback to students on assessed material on a regular Implements the IEP requirements of special needs Establishes communication with parents through a variety of means to inform them of academic and behavioral progress and achievement. Maintains accurate and complete records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations. Maintains confidentiality with student
Required Clearances and Documentation:
Act 34, 114, and 151 clearances less than 1 year old Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training less than 5 years old Act 168 Sexual Abuse/Misconduct Disclosure Health physical less than 1 year old Tuberculin skin test less than 3 months old
