Responsibilities Supervise children during before-school and after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan, organize, and facilitate engaging activities that promote social skills, creativity, and physical activity Manage classroom behavior using positive discipline techniques and effective behavior management strategies Implement child supervision protocols, including attendance tracking and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines Provide basic first aid and respond appropriately to emergencies following established first aid protocols; operate AED equipment when necessary Collaborate with team members to create inclusive environments that support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education accommodations Support youth development programs by fostering leadership, teamwork, and personal growth among participants Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings is highly preferred Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Valid certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED operation; first aid certification required or willing to obtain upon hire Strong understanding of childhood development principles and teaching experience with young children is advantageous Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions during outdoor activities or field trips Excellent child supervision skills with a focus on safety and positive engagement Experience facilitating youth group activities or leading recreational programs such as theater, tutoring, or camp experiences is a plus Effective team leadership abilities with a collaborative attitude toward program implementation Demonstrated commitment to nurturing a supportive environment for children's growth and learning Join us in inspiring young minds while gaining valuable experience in youth programming!
