until filled At the present time, vacancies exist for Part-time Student Support Specialists within the Norristown After School Program , Student Services Division of the CCIU. Currently, there are multiple openings working with elementary and middle school age students, and supporting English Language Learners and/or academic support students. Qualifications:

• High school diploma required
• Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
• Experience working with bilingual/bicultural students preferred
• Experience working with the applicable age group preferred
• Computer and current technology knowledge required
• Must have Act 33 and 34 clearances and federal criminal history background check (available through CCIU upon hire)
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Duties & Responsibilities:

Plan and implement daily lessons related to student needs Provide an engaging environment designed to meet the needs of students Implement behavior management strategies that are developmentally appropriate Plan and implement a daily learning schedule that includes: Physical movement Social and emotional learning Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) activities Maintain student attendance and participation data

Locations:

• Davenport Elementary School and Marshall Street Elementary School

Blockson, ENMS, and ESTLA Middle School Schedule:

Three days a week (TBD) 3:30pm

• 5:30pm (Middle School), 4:00pm-5:30pm (Elementary) Hourly Rate (2026-2027 School Year): Project Band 13: $31.82
• $39.77 per hour
