Category Schools - General Education Teacher Job Type Contract Inspire the next generation of digital learners as a full-time 7th & 8th Grade Technology Teacher for the upcoming school year! This rewarding contract opportunity is based onsite at a middle school near Waukegan, IL, running from August 17 through May 27, 2027. Key Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field. Active Illinois Professional Educator License with the required endorsement(s) for Technology/General Education. Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, lesson planning, and classroom instruction at the middle school level. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Passion for teaching and empowering students with technology, digital citizenship, and 21st-century skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, grade-appropriate technology instruction for 7th and 8th grade students in a classroom setting. Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with state standards and prepare students for future educational success. Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment that encourages student curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking. Integrate current digital tools and applications to enhance student learning outcomes. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous growth. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as required.
