Job Description

Under general supervision, is responsible for supervision of After School Care Children's Programs.
Responsibilities include:
overseeing, organizing, and planning activities for children ages 5-12 years old. Assists with games, special events, and programs under the countywide Recreation Department Program. Ensures playing surfaces are clear and safe and programs are prepared for the activity. Administers general First Aid. Enforces and interprets rules and regulations in designated recreation districts. Provides assistance if necessary. Must have considerable knowledge of preparing and assisting with recreational programs, athletic activities and coordinating of recreational facilities. Must be able to pass the pre-employment background check and physical.
