Job Description
Kidz Kare Totz CEC serves children ages infant
- 12 years old to ensure that all children start school ready to reach their highest potential with engaged support from parents, caregivers, and communities.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool or school aged children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Ensure the health and safety of all students at all times
- Participate in field-trip adventures
Skills:
- Special education: Experience working with children with special needs is a plus
- Classroom management: Ability to create a positive and structured learning environment
- Childhood development: Understanding of child development principles and milestones
- Preschool experience: Previous experience working in a preschool/ school age setting is preferred
- Childcare experience: Experience in a daycare or afterschool care setting
- Strong communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience and flexibility: Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students and the classroom as a whole We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
