Upstate Children's Center of Walhalla, Inc. is hiring an After School Teacher in Walhalla, SC Summary Upstate Children's Center of Walhalla, Inc. offers a welcoming family environment and fosters opportunities for both staff and families in our community.
Shift:
Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, making it an ideal choice for students balancing college and work commitments. We are always accepting applications for this role. Duties Offer support and supervision to children in our care, prioritizing their well-being and safety Foster open communication with children, their parents, and our staff to ensure a smooth experience for all Create a secure and nurturing environment where children can thrive Develop engaging activities that promote learning and education Play a key role in nurturing children's social and emotional growth Maintain a tidy and organized classroom environment that reflects our commitment to excellence Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting children up to 40 pounds and performing other tasks as needed Requirements Must pass background checks 18 years old+ High school diploma or GED required Nice To Haves Prior experience working with children is a valuable asset in this role.
