Afterschool Staff The Montessori School - 4.2 Chattanooga, TN Job Details Part-time From $16 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Spanish Childcare Sports coaching experience English High school diploma or GED Dancing Clean workspace maintenance Full Job Description Job Summary Daily hours 2:15p-5:45p Summary of essential job functions Supervise children playing on playground Ensure the safety of children on playgrounds Facilitate active play with children (students should be engaged in a happy and safe environment) Use Love and Logic with children who are not following the rules Use Love and Logic with children who are having trouble getting along with other children Take children to the bathroom Help children change clothes when they have an accident Help children when they get hurt (complete minor injury reports) Use playground book to communicate any issues from playground or notes from parents Arrive dressed and ready for active play Maintain age appropriate ratios Greet parents Maintain cleanliness of playground (all areas are clean/orderly) Snack is monitored and given from 3:00 - 4:00 pm Abilities required Lifting children, running, ability to clean, ability to react quickly, ability to multi-task Qualifications and Skills Minimum requirements - 18 years of age (High School diploma required).
