Job Description

Challenger School is seeking enthusiastic, intelligent individuals to join the middle school teams at our Austin campuses as a part-time teacher - could become a full-time position with training included. As a teacher at Challenger, you will teach individual responsibility, self-confidence, and independence alongside science and math. Our classes are fast paced, fun, and have a proven curriculum already in place. Specific teaching degrees and certificates are not required to teach at Challenger School. Responsibilities Thoroughly learn Challenger's curriculum, teaching methods, and philosophy Maintain a safe and productive classroom environment Prepare lesson plans and teach daily classes Grade daily student homework assignments Consistently attend required training and teaching days Communicate regularly with parents and administrators on student progress Work patiently with students, parents, and coworkers Qualifications 4-year college bachelor's degree or equivalent Ability to pass a background check Completion of pre-employment assessments Want to see what it looks like to be a Challenger teacher?
