Job Description - We are looking for someone to be a positive role model for children. Provide a safe, healthy and clean environment. Able to plan and direct various projects and activities during holidays, teacher work days and after school time Possess positive written and verbal communication with children, parents and co-workers Can work longer hours when public school is out for holidays, summer, etc. can possibly work the school
Year:
Part-Time hours and possibly Full time during the holidays
Responsibilities:
Able to assist children with a variety lessons as assigned by his/her public/charter school teacher Develop an age appropriate lesson plan using the After School Curriculum Plan fun age appropriate activities Organize snack and meal times Encourage children to interact with one another and resolve differences Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Skills:
Experience with working with children Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for the classroom Good communication and instructional skills Ability to act as mediator between children Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
