Schoolhouse 226 Philosophy Schoolhouse 226 Preschool is a family-owned preschool in Frisco with a commitment to academic excellence while providing children a strong Biblical foundation, all the while ensuring they are prepared for Kindergarten and beyond. Teacher Opportunity Schoolhouse 226 is currently hiring for a highly qualified lead teacher with a passion for teaching children and fostering in them a solid, faith-based foundation. Schoolhouse 226 is a full time Christian preschool, and operates between the hours of 6:30AM - 6:00PM, year-round.
Relevant job duties include:
Help to implement dynamic, high-quality and age-appropriate curriculum in order to successfully engage children Design and maintain a stimulating classroom setting Provide ongoing assessments and documentation of classroom activities Assist the lead teacher in maintaining classroom safety, structure and curriculum Develop and maintain rapport with children, parent and co-workers Teacher Requirements Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood Effective organizational, supervision, planning and leadership skills Demonstrated classroom management skills Ability to communicate effectively and correspond with families regularly Capable of executing a developmentally appropriate Christian curriculum Know how to implement beginning Spanish Curriculum for Preschool age and Pre-K age Be comfortable learning how to drive the School Bus for
