Job Description
Role Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback. Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child. Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn. Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions. Support your center's success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement. Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly. What you'll get to do every day: Be a part of an amazing team. Have a positive attitude. You've got to enjoy hanging out with kids! Being passionate about helping children love to learn. Our super star teacher will be knowledgeable of child development, biting prevention, and classroom management. You'll need to have prior childcare experience in a licensed school setting. We require you to have at least a HS diploma/GED. (College coursework is preferred.) You'll also need to be CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to complete a course within two weeks of hire date.) Have SIDS training (or have a SIDS training completed prior to spending time with our infants. Have an understanding of child development. Attends all staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions. Be flexible with the hours based on the need of the school.
