Job Description Club Z! Tutoring is a National In-Home Tutoring Service seeking highly qualified, GT experienced Elementary Teachers/Tutors for immediate assignments in Houston, TX 77007 and surrounding areas . We are especially looking for educators who are passionate about working with young learners from Kindergarten Readiness through 3rd Grade and who can provide engaging, personalized one-on-one instruction in ELA and Math in order prepare them for the GT courses in the school district.
Ideal candidates should have:
Texas Teacher Certification or a Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field At least 3 + year of teaching or tutoring experience with K- 3rd Grade students Strong experience in Early Childhood or Elementary Education Experience identifying learning gaps and creating individualized lessons Ability to make learning engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate Strong communication and classroom-management skills A warm, patient, and encouraging teaching style Ability to work effectively with parents and communicate student progress SPED certification or experience working with students with learning differences is highly valued Gifted & Talented teaching experience is a
MUST Primary Service Area:
Houston, TX 77007 and surrounding areas Assignments may be provided at the student's home or at a designated learning center. Applicants must be willing and able to provide in-person or Group sessions.
Starting Rate:
$30.00/hour and up Benefits Flexible schedule Part-time teaching opportunity/After school hours Opportunity for attain higher compensation from Group tutoring assignments
