All tasks are to be performed within the Kids R Kids policies and procedures, as well as state and regulatory agencies. (Hours 1-6:30 M-F) General Duties and Responsibilities Arrive on time in appropriate attire required by Kids R Kids. Comply with CPR and First Aid precautions. Comply with OSHA universal precautions. Learn and administer the appropriate curriculum for children in your care for both classroom and outdoor activities in accordance with age-appropriate objectives, developmentally appropriate practices and program philosophy. Maintain daily communication with families of children in your care. Assess and record progress in all areas of growth for children in your care. This includes physical, cognitive, social and emotional growth. Knowledge and Skills High school diploma or GED 21 years of age 2 years' work experience in childcare industry Child Development Associate or higher. Working knowledge of behaviors and developmental stages of infant/toddler/preschool/school-age children, typically gained by working one year or more in a school or preschool setting. Knowledge of safety practices as they relate to infant/toddler/preschool/school-age children. Infant, Child and Adult CPR/First Aid certified at time of hire.
