Paid holidays and paid summer break Position Summary Heart Dream Christian Academy is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic 3-Year-Old Head Start Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children and a passion for creating a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered learning environment. The teacher will provide developmentally appropriate instruction and care while helping children build a strong foundation for future learning. This position requires patience, professionalism, creativity, and the ability to work positively with children, families, and staff. Essential Responsibilities Provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for children. Plan and provide age-appropriate educational activities and daily lessons. Support each child's social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual development. Establish and maintain a consistent classroom routine. Incorporate Christian values, Bible stories, prayer, and character development into daily activities. Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom. Observe and document children's growth and developmental progress. Communicate effectively and professionally with parents and families. Work collaboratively with classroom assistants, administrators, and other staff members. Follow all school policies, health and safety procedures, and applicable Head Start requirements. Participate in staff meetings, training, professional development, and school activities. Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working with preschool-aged children preferred. Early childhood education experience or training preferred. Must demonstrate patience, responsibility, dependability, and a positive attitude. Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must be able to pass required background checks and meet applicable childcare and Head Start requirements. Must be willing to support and model the Christian values and mission of Heart Dream Christian Academy.
