Company Overview Cambridge Montessori School is a private Montessori school located in Sugar Land. Established in 1997, our mission is to foster a love of learning and educate children to become caring, socially responsible citizens of their community and the world. Summary We are seeking a passionate Primary Afternoon Teacher to teach ages 3 - 6 years old and join our dedicated team at Cambridge Montessori School in Sugar Land . This role is vital in nurturing children's growth and development, aligning with our commitment to creating an enriching educational environment. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to the needs of students. Foster a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages learning. Provide individualized support to children, including those with special needs. Collaborate with parents and staff to promote student success. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Maintain classroom management to ensure a positive learning atmosphere. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities. Qualifications Experience working with young children in an educational setting (required). Strong understanding of Montessori principles and practices (preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (preferred). Ability to create inclusive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs (preferred). Knowledge of behavior management techniques (preferred). Previous experience in a private school setting is a plus.
