Seeking a job that pairs the thrill of cooking with your love of working with kids? Then join our team! We are looking to add two enthusiastic people, one lead instructor and one assistant instructor per program. Each day brings you to a different school or community center so there is never time for boredom in this position. Programs start at either 2:30pm
  • 4:15pm and 3:30pm
  • 5:15pm
  • perfect if you're going (or have gone) to college. Our school break camps need staff too; come show us what sets you apart from the rest today! Successful candidates must be available Mon-Thurs at 2:30pm program. Successful candidates will be expected to get creative by gathering supplies, ingredients, recipes and activities that bring life into these programs
  • all while working with kids.
Also have the ability to encourage engagement and help passive kids not be left out of the action. Join the team at Chefsville and work with food! We have flexible hours, making it a great fit for college students during school breaks, summer time or vacation times. Take on inspiring projects as an instructor teaching cooking classes to scout groups, hosting birthday parties

Chefsville is seeking highly motivated candidates who are detailed minded, and can multitask when needed to deliver life-enhancing cooking, and skill development programs. To qualify, you'll need a high school diploma, relevant experience, plus some college education is preferred
  • but not required.
Let your interest in food & health shine through! Must haves are reliable transportation for any light shopping trips necessary to properly equip their instruction sessions with K-8 students; common sense principles; problem-solving; and creative thinking. Candidates must want to work with children ages 4 and up, with 6 months of equivalent study/experience. Experience with summer camp and volunteering with kids from other families counts.
Requirements:
6 months (plus) of relevant instructional work experience, 6 months (plus) of a paid job camp, YMCA, directly caring for kids beyond your family, Good oral and written communication skills, Organisational skills, Multi-tasking, Basic to intermediate knowledge of safe food preparation, kitchen safety & cooking, Reliable transportation, Prompt, Must be able to lift about 40 pounds, Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check to work with kids, Common sense with business, Good with critical thinking and problem-solving, Candidate must be willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement Other skills: Computer literacy and people skills are required.
