College students, substitutes, former and retired teachers ..... Mad Science of Hampton Roads is currently accepting applications for multiple high-energy, enthusiastic instructors for our After School STEM Programs. You'll enjoy a flexible schedule, but the more availability you have, the more programs you can do!

Responsibilities:

Bring hands-on STEM programs to elementary students at local schools. Teach high-energy, part entertainment, part education, hands-on science programs.

Most important:

Get kids excited about science! We train you on the curriculum and provide all materials.

Qualifications:

Instructional experience working with groups of elementary-age children such as prior classroom or camp counselor experience. Must have a reliable car. All employees must pass a criminal background check. Minimum age of 20 years old. Minimum education of some college Have a fun & outgoing personality!

Schedule:

Teach 1 hour after school classes scheduled between 2-5 pm Monday - Thursday Spend approximately 2 hours at the school to account for set up before and clean up after.
