Job Description

Job Summary MARS Academy is a STEM education company dedicated to inspiring the next generation of innovators through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. We partner with schools to deliver high-quality after-school enrichment programs that help elementary and middle school students build confidence in technology, coding, engineering, and problem-solving. Our team is passionate about creating a fun, supportive learning environment where every child has the opportunity to explore, create, and grow. Duties Teach engaging, hands-on STEM lessons using MARS Academy's provided curriculum. Lead students through activities involving coding, robotics, engineering, technology, and problem-solving. Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment. Supervise and ensure the safety of students throughout the program. Support students with different learning styles and levels of experience. Encourage creativity, curiosity, teamwork, and participation. Manage classroom behavior in a professional and positive manner. Communicate effectively with students, school staff, and the MARS Academy team. Arrive prepared and on time for each scheduled session. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Follow MARS Academy's teaching guidelines, safety procedures, and school policies. Provide feedback on student engagement and classroom experiences when needed. Skills & Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Enjoyment of working with elementary school students. Ability to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and engaging way. Interest or experience in STEM fields such as coding, robotics, engineering, computer science, or technology. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, responsible, and professional. Willingness to learn and follow MARS Academy's curriculum and teaching methods.
