Job Description

Title:
Childcare Staff and Office Assistant Description:
Responsible for day-to-day activities and supervision of The Collaborative Extended Day Program/Collaborative Camp Staff and assorted office and administrative tasks.
Hours:
Part-time with a chance of going full-time. Monday - Friday 1:30-5:30. Some camp days (8am - 4pm).

Programs Coordinator and EDP Coordinator when EDP is in session
Work Duties:
Work as staff in the Extended Day Program and Summer Camp (EDP Assist with Planning and implementation youth programs, services and activities including and EDP/Summer Camp Adhere to the Vermont Child Care Licensing Regulations Participate in regular staff meetings, team meetings, trainings and orientations. Work as a team with other staff and program volunteers. Provide participants with the appropriate leadership during youth programs. Provide a warm and caring atmosphere for participants. Prepare and facilitate activities that are developmentally appropriate for the age of the children. Responsible for all activity, room preparations and clean-up for the program. Follow and enforce all safety policies. Assist with participant check-in/out. Perform duties of Office Manager including but not limited to: managing mail and mailings, keeping office clean, organized and stocked accordingly, assisting with staff meetings, logging checks and receipts Attend appropriate training to stay updated to site standards and VT Child Care Licensing Regulations and other training to meet the requirements of the job. Assisting communications teams with message creation, event posters, social media posts and posting as appropriate Assisting with community and grant projects as needed Assist in managing organizational systems including Google Workspace, Little Green Light, Procare and social media accounts including Sprout social. Input data into program management systems Carry out administrative work of the organization Fundraising support Perform other duties as directed.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
