Showing them how to build LEGO models sounds like a meaningful way to spend an afternoon. A part-time job just 2-3 hours a day each weekday in the late afternoon or early evening fits your schedule perfectly. If this is you, then you should become a Bricks 4 Kidz instructor. We are an innovative school educational program teaching children! We are currently looking for instructors for our hands-on after-school programs. Don't worry, we can train you on the curriculum and running a classroom. You just need to be comfortable with technology and had some kind of experience working with groups of kids (e.g. camp counselor, teacher's assistant, church kids group assistant/leader, FIRST mentor, etc.). You are 18 years or older and available between the hours of 2:00 and 5:00
• pm. This is a part-time position up to 4 days a week with approximately a 2 to 3 hour time frame each day (dependent upon school/parks and rec). You can take advantage of additional optional opportunities if you like such as family event booths, workshops, birthday parties, and other events. You might have formal teaching experience but it's not necessary. Each day of the week you would be at a different school or community center throughout Kitsap County including Poulsbo, Silverdale, Bremerton, Kingston, and Bainbridge Island. Training begins in mid-September. You are willing to have a background check to ensure the safety of the children, their families, and you and your family. You will have a 30 pound tote, so you'll need to be capable of lifting and transporting it. Click that Apply button and come build with us!
