Legacy Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated, Christ-centered Middle School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students grow academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally while creating a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment. The Middle School Teacher will provide instruction, classroom management, student support, and Christian discipleship for students in grades 5-8. Key Responsibilities Provide engaging, age-appropriate instruction aligned with LCA curriculum and academic standards. Teach assigned middle school subjects and maintain appropriate lesson plans and instructional materials. Integrate biblical principles and Christian worldview throughout instruction and classroom activities. Establish a positive, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment. Build strong relationships with students while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. Differentiate instruction to meet individual student learning needs. Monitor student academic progress and communicate concerns and successes to administration and families. Maintain accurate grades, attendance, assignments, and student records. Use appropriate assessment strategies to measure student understanding and growth. Collaborate with other teachers and administration to support student success. Communicate professionally and consistently with parents and guardians. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, school events, and other assigned duties. Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, arrival/dismissal, and other assigned activities. Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom. Support the mission, policies, procedures, and Christian values of Legacy Christian Academy. Serve as a positive Christian role model for students in conduct, communication, attitude, and leadership. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred. Appropriate teaching certification or eligibility for certification preferred. Experience working with middle school students preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to differentiate instruction and support diverse learning needs. Commitment to Christian education and the mission of Legacy Christian Academy. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, students, and families. Successful completion of required background checks and employment requirements. Pay:

$34,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
