QUALIFICATIONS
Five (5) Years Teaching Experience
Must Participate In Training Program
Master's Degree And/Or Previous Advanced Training In Teacher Effectiveness
Willingness To Assist New Teachers And Perform Assigned Responsibilities Such As:
Regular Observations/Conferences
Attendance At Monthly Support Team Meetings
Completion Of A Log Book
Ongoing Support And Assistance To New Employee
Same Programmatic Level As Intern And Same Building Location If Possible
SALARY:
The Mentor Shall Receive A Stipend Paid By The West Virginia Department Of Education.

Participate in a formal beginning teacher assistance program; help resolve problems of beginning teachers through assistance and support; classroom observation and follow-up conferences concerning teaching techniques, classroom management skills, improved relationships with students, etc.; assist with identifying goals and objectives; assist with self-evaluation of intern teacher
