Position Summary:

The STEM Center at Henderson State University seeks to fill a part time - extra help student work position for the fall semester 2026. The STEM Center workers will assist the Director in maintaining the STEM Center materials and resource library that serves HSU students, faculty, K-12 schools, and the community.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The ideal candidates are STEM field Education majors, but open to all. They will be comfortable learning and utilizing technology to complete tasks, including: maintaining the library of resources Inventory and check-in/checkout of STEM center materials which includes physical labor in the form of moving, packaging, and reshelving materials answering emails and phone calls creating and distributing information to all stakeholders understanding and maintaining the tools utilized at the STEM Center managing visitors and monitoring the use of all the STEM and multimedia equipment working in a collaborative environment with the STEM Center employees, Teachers College, and other university faculty and staff communicating orally and in writing in a professional and timely manner possessing experience in and a desire to learn a variety of technologies other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be currently enrolled as a student at Henderson State University.
