Responsibilities Conduct original musicological research connected to Henri Temianka's musical career and influence Receive structured mentorship from a music scholar-librarian with expertise in performance, music history, and information literacy Consult and analyze primary sources, including but not limited to materials from the Temianka Archives Gain experience in advanced research methodologies, including responsible use of AI as a research tool Produce a culminating scholarly product such as a research paper or annotated bibliography Have the potential opportunity to co-present research findings at a professional conference Required Qualifications Little to minimal prior experience. Ability to learn support process. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Desired Qualifications Preference will be given to students with knowledge in music history Ability to read music Previous experience with research in music, history, humanities, or a related field Previous experience working in a library or archive Special Instructions to Applicants Please complete pre-screening questions during application process.
