University Advancement Development Associate University of St. Francis - 4.0 Joliet, IL Job Details Full-time 21 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Research Bachelor's degree Productivity software Full Job Description The Development Associate will provide support to the entire University Advancement team, and function as administrative reinforcement, especially in the areas of marketing, outreach, internal operations, and overseeing the student worker program Essential Duties & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the UA student worker program: oversee scheduling, task assignment, and completion Oversee the hiring process of new student workers as needed Serve as a liaison between UA and other internal departments including but not limited to USF Marketing and RICOH to streamline the necessary projects for outreach Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry and retrieval, updating donor records, and managing the accuracy of current donor database Perform research on constituents for segmented outreach opportunities and thorough profile development, in turn creating engagement and giving opportunities for constituents Assist in the implementation of communication plans across social media platforms Provide support in outreach efforts such as stewardship, event registration, and other necessary areas Aid in implementation of strategy especially relevant to University Advancement events Be responsible for the entire gift acknowledgement process to ensure donors are being properly recognized for gifts to the University of St. Francis Collect and document data and content for Engaging Mind & Spirit magazine Conduct research for current and potential funding sources Perform relative tasks within budgetary confines Create personalized communication to constituents and donors via birthday cards, gift anniversary cards, and holiday cards Curate relationships with segmented groups of alumni and the respective outreach Participate in and promote a culture of continuing quality improvement Other related duties as assigned Minimum Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BA or BS in relevant field Computer and technology literacy and ability to operate computer systems Relative knowledge of Microsoft Office Organization skills, time management, and task prioritization skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work within a team setting while maintaining individual responsibilities Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position Willingness to support the Catholic and Franciscan values of the university Preferred Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Management experience within a small team University of St. Francis alumni
Hours/Shift/Work Schedule Hours/Shift/Work Schedule:
Typically, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, occasional evening and weekend work may be required for meetings and events. Physical Requirements of Position

Work is performed in an office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Substantial time is spent working on a computer.
