Art Gallery Intern Description:
Established Newbury Street art gallery seeks an Intern for Fall 2026 whose responsibilities will include the following duties: Preparation and distribution of direct mailing projects related to Gallery artists and events. Assist in the transportation and installation of fine art in various Gallery spaces. Assist in the production and execution of outgoing Gallery correspondence. Assist in the greeting and introduction of the Gallery to potential clients and visitors. Various small projects and errands, as needed. General administrative and clerical duties.
Qualifications:
This is an excellent opportunity for a student who is working toward a degree in Art History/Studio Art or a recent graduate who is eager to learn about the business and operation of an active art gallery. The ideal candidate will be conscientious, flexible andanized with the ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously. The Gallery is open seven days/week. Our internships are part time with a stipend available. Our ideal candidate is able to work one weekday and one weekend day beginning at the start of the Fall semester and extending through the end of the calendar year. We are flexible with our scheduling and work with our interns to amodate their schedules and needs.
