Play Street Museum Columbia, MD Associate Job Description About Play Street Museum:

Play Street Museum (playstreetmuseum.com) is a clean, upscale children's museum where kids eight and under can enjoy creative and educational play. We offer playtime reservation, birthday parties, crafts, and a small footprint retail area. Parents must remain onsite with their children as we aren't a daycare or drop off center.

Our mission is to provide high-quality play and learning experiences for young children and their families. You are an employee of a Play Street Museum Franchisee, Ray Ventures, LLC. Your employer is an independent business owner operating under a license agreement with Play Street Museum Worldwide.

Job Summary:

The purpose of a Play Street Museum Associate position is to interact with guests in a friendly and efficient way, ensuring they have a great experience at Play Street Museum.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides excellent customer service in person and while answering phone inquiries. Opens and closes the Museum as needed. Greets customers and registers them to play. Keeps all areas of the museum clean. Keep a balanced drawer. Implements any and all procedures during an emergency. Promptly reports all guest service issues to the

Manager Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience with children is preferred. Ability to stand for up to 8 hours at a time, bend and lift 25 lbs. Excellent communication skills. Must provide documentation of legal U.S. residency. Must be able to manage tasks quickly and efficiently. Must have a clear background check Must have weekend availability Weekday morning and early afternoon (8am-3:30pm) availability during the week

Compensation:
