Children's Museum, based in Las Vegas, Nevada, is dedicated to the educational enrichment of children through hands-on, interactive learning. The Museum's mission is to ignite a lifelong love of learning by fostering a welcoming, vibrant, and inclusive environment where all are invited to engage in playful and educational experiences.

Position Description:

As a member of the Museum's floor staff, Birthday Presenter 1 plays a very important role in determining the quality of each visitor's experience. The ideal candidate will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while creating a mission-oriented environment with excellent customer service and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide excellent guest service by welcoming families and engaging with visitors throughout events. Lead party operations including check-in, setup, cleanup, prepare and lead party activities, assist with food service/catering, and prepare and distribute party invoices. Serve as a mentor when working with Teen/Intern Staff. Maintain knowledge of museum exhibits, follow daily checklists, and adhere to all museum policies. Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality programs and a positive visitor experience. Support museum programming as a floor presenter and assist with after-hours events as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma; must be 18 or older. Experience with children, families, or teens preferred. Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills with the ability to work with large crowds and provide solution based problem solving skills. Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable in fast-paced environments. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on feet for long periods. Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings

Saturday:

9:00am - 5:15pm

Sunday:

11:45am - 5:15pm Depending on special events, additional hours may be required.

Compensation:

$14.00/hour
