32 hours per week To facilitate guests' experience at reception desk and museum shop during normal operating hours and events. Train and schedule Visitor Services staff. Plan departmental budget and monitor budget utilizing prepared expense and revenue reports. Develop and implement targeted goals for Museum Shop sales. Purchase and price goods for Museum Shop. Monitor and report on Museum Shop inventory. Oversee aesthetic appearance of Museum Shop. Prepare weekly deposits. Meet with consignees and vendors to discuss Museum Shop policies. Maintain visitor handouts at the Front Desk and Visitor Center. Work with Marketing to advertise Museum Shop and maintain an online presence. Coordinate Visitor Services staff during programs and events. Communicate schedule to visitors and staff. Work with Marketing to update the museum visitor handout. Work closely with Senior Staff to determine weekend needs. Data entry of front desk information into donor database. Take payment for admissions and tuition. Answer phones. Other duties as requested and assigned. Experience in Retail Management or Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Museum Studies or related field Willingness and ability to work variable weekend and evening hours. Strong customer service skills; strong communication skills; positive attitude; self-motivated. Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Google Drive. Ability to set-up simple AV equipment. Typically works in office conditions and is required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. When required, needs to be able to spend significant amounts of time in front of computer terminal keyboarding data. Required to be able to lift 25 pounds.Pay:
