The Curator of the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts is responsible for the development, organization, and presentation of exhibitions and programs that support the mission of the Quick Center and the University. This position combines artistic vision, scholarly research, and administrative leadership to create dynamic, inclusive, and educational visual arts experiences for students, faculty, and the broader community. Exhibition Development and Curation Collaborate closely with the Executive Director on visual arts initiatives and exhibition planning at the University. Conceptualize, research, and curate fine arts exhibitions, including temporary, traveling, and permanent installations. Plan and manage all aspects of exhibition scheduling, booking, installation, deinstallation, packing, and return of artworks. Install exhibitions in the Center's Atriums and the Dresser, Kenney, and Front Galleries. Work to promote exhibitions and increase the Center's visibility locally, regionally, and nationally, in collaboration with marketing staff. 25% Collection Management Manage, document, and care for the University Art Collection, including maintaining accurate database and paper records. Ensure proper storage, conservation, and preservation of artworks in accordance with museum best practices. Recommend acquisitions, loans, and deaccession of artworks. Oversee all incoming and outgoing loans, including works by visiting artists and loans to approved institutions. Assume responsibility for all materials loaned to the Center for exhibition purposes. 25% Outreach, Education, and Public Engagement Plan and coordinate artist talks, lectures, tours, and public programs that engage the University and the larger community. Collaborate with the Arts Education Coordinator to develop educational activities and tours for students, faculty, local schools, and community groups. Respond to requests for artworks displayed in locations outside the Center on campus, including framing, installation, and recordkeeping. 25% Administrative and Operational Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Center's galleries. Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with university departments, artists, lenders, and the public. Ensure compliance with professional museum standards for exhibition development, collection care, and facilities management. 25%

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in museum exhibition development and curation. Knowledge of museum administration, including conservation and preservation standards and facilities management.
