As a multifaceted company of over 40 years, we are known for our superior workmanship and standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analysis and examination of projects to determine proper treatment
- Proper treatment to conserve and restore art, antiques and artifacts
- Documentation of procedures and step-by-step processes
- Collaboration with other conservators and reports to head conservator
- Properly maintaining a clean and safe environment at all times
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Studio Arts, Art History, and/or Chemistry.
- Ability to follow instructions
- Strong hand skills and manual dexterity
- Ability to match color and design
- Excellent attention to detail
- Acute problem-solving abilities
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to plan, prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines Preferred qualifications:
- Working knowledge of relevant artistic processes and techniques
- Previous experience in conservation, archives or restoration
- Experience with hand tools
