Arrowhead Art Gallery Assistant Do you appreciate art, enjoy meeting people, and want to be part of St. George's vibrant arts community? The Southern Utah Art Guild in downtown St. George, a local non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, is looking for a friendly, dependable, and enthusiastic Art Gallery Assistant to join the Guild team!

What You'll Do:

• Welcome visitors to the gallery
• Assist with artwork sales
• Support our artists and members
• Help with exhibitions, receptions, and special events
• Help keep the gallery welcoming, organized, and inviting Qualifications
• Friendly, dependable, and comfortable interacting with the public
• Comfortable handling basic computer and point-of-sale tasks
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• An interest in art and the local arts community
• Must demonstrate discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling information related to artists, customers, artwork sales, and financial transactions
• Must be able to lift, hang, and take down art work
• No art experience required !

We will provide the necessary training Time Commitment This is a part-time position, approximately 24 hours per week , with a schedule based on gallery needs and the individual's availability. The hourly rate is $16.00 . Position comes with some paid holidays and 40 hours of PTO annually.
