It is a ministry that serves our community, develops volunteers into deeper lives of service, provides resources for missions and outreach, and creates opportunities to share the love of Christ with those who walk through our doors. We are seeking a mature Christian leader who is passionate about both ministry and management. This person will lead a volunteer-driven organization, oversee daily retail operations, develop staff and volunteers, and help advance the mission of Stillwater Church. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building teams, developing people, organizing operations, and using everyday interactions as opportunities for ministry. What You'll Do Recruit, train, schedule, and encourage volunteers while fostering a Christ-centered culture of service as well as supervise and support paid staff members. Oversee store operations, including donations, pricing, merchandising, inventory flow, and facility maintenance. Manage financial systems, budgets, reporting, and operational efficiency in partnership with church leadership. Serve as the public representative of the store within the church and community. Promote the mission and ministries of Stillwater Church through the store's relationships and outreach. Work closely with church staff, the Store Support Team, and volunteers to ensure the store operates effectively and fulfills its ministry purpose. Serve as a member of the Stillwater Church staff team and assist with the broader mission of the church as needed. Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a committed follower of Jesus Christ who demonstrates spiritual maturity, servant leadership, and a passion for helping people grow.
Qualified candidates will have:
Willingness to become an Associate or Full Member of Stillwater Church. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. Experience leading volunteers, staff, or teams. Experience in retail, nonprofit leadership, business management, operations, or a related field (preferred). The ability to balance ministry vision with organizational and financial responsibility.
