The
NEXT GEN LEAD
is responsible for overseeing Next Generation Ministries (Children, Students, Young Adults) and developing the next generation of leaders (volunteers and paid staff) and equipping them to reach more young people for Jesus, serve families and build a culture that invests not just into the church of tomorrow, but the church of today.PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Must be driven, personable, mission-focused and able to develop leaders and leadership structure in each are of ministry responsibility. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Excellent written and communication skills. At least 5 years of full-time ministry leadership experience.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Champion and Oversee the Next Generation- Inspire the church to say yes to the next generation and invest in their future now. Children, Students and Young Adults need loving and committed adults to show up and connect with them, share life with them, and invest in them. Dream of ways to see continue growth, and impact for all three ministries is possible and measurable. Orchard Ministry Institute
- Ensure OMI is successful, with collaboration with OMI Director. And see the production of high-level residents that have a call into ministry being equipped with understanding and tools to impact the Kingdom and to excel in their future. Develop Staff and Align Ministries
- Develop your leaders by equipping them with the knowledge, skills and ministry experience it takes to lead their teams and ministries in accordance with Orchard Church s Leadership Development Strategy.
- Meet with the Directors regularly to identify common goals and objectives. Keep a measure of what success looks like and hold them accountable while coaching them with what they need to learn and grow in their God-given calling. Lead Team Involvement
- Hold responsibilities of being a part of the oversight of OC, by participating and helping develop and create strategies filtered through your respective areas through our Lead Team, which will include: weekly meetings, personal leadership development, and retreats. Curriculum oversight across OCKids and Student Ministry
- Lead your teams to provide opportunities for training for volunteers, coaches, OC Ministry team members, and student volunteers to dive into the curriculum to ensure it is used effectively and efficiently for the growth of children on a weekly and lifelong basis for the Lord. Oversee Budget
- Trust your teams to steward their budgets wisely to maximize ministry and reach young people for Jesus and provide counsel when needed.
