The position is also responsible for overseeing and the team of full-time art handlers in their operations. It is required that the candidate has experience in warehousing and inventory management, with a history of logistics or art handling and/or installation a very strong preference. The position requires someone with a proven record of leadership and detail-oriented multi-tasking, as well as the ability to plan and execute operations. The position requires fluent English. The candidate must live in Miami-Dade at the time of applying. Candidates who do not meet requirements will not be considered. The gallery is a small company of ten full-time employees and the hours for this position are Monday

• Friday, 9:30am
• 6:00pm, and on Saturdays from 12:00pm
• 5:00pm.

Overtime hours are paid at a rate of time a half. Full-time + overtime and exclusive employment relationship with health insurance and paid vacation time, with a starting hourly rate of $30 an hour.

Responsibilities Include:

Managing the gallery's inventory and inventory control systems. Moving and overseeing the movement of artworks to storage facilities and installing in client homes. Fulfilling and overseeing art handling duties, such as artwork installation, displaying art and delivery of artworks. Providing support in client relations. Coordinating and scheduling operations between departments. Occasional travel to art fairs within the

Requirements:

Four year Bachelor's Degree is required. Full English fluency is required. Experience in inventory management or a closely related field is required. Clean, valid driver's license and work documents are required. Physically fit. Basic computer proficiency is preferred. Ability to multi-task, provide strong attention to detail. Organizational skills. Leadership skills. Excellent references. Willingness to pass a background check and toxicology report required.

$30.00 per hour
