Part-Time Gallery Administrator Description:
Chase Young Gallery is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, dedicated and flexible part-time Gallery Administrator Knowledge about and a passion for contemporary art is required. You will fulfill many roles in the day to day operations of the gallery, but social media content creation and gallery administrative support is a must and will be a major focus of the position. 10-15 hours per week commitment, work within a regular schedule with some additional days as needed.The Gallery Administrator will:
- Provide general administrative assistance to the Director.
- Assist in exhibition installation.
- Pack, ship, and deliver artwork.
- Assist in web site maintenance and
- Oversee social media platforms.
- Assist in general gallery upkeep.
- Perform special projects as necessary.
- Process sales.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to follow tasks through to completion
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills
- Interest in contemporary art and artists
- Responsible professional with great attitude and strong work ethic
- Must enjoy working with the public and clients
- Prior gallery experience preferred but not required
- Sales experience a must

The gallery is pleased to exhibit a wide variety of outstanding contemporary artists with a specific focus on innovative painting mediums.
