The Tourism Director leads Winnsboro's efforts to position and market the City as a visitor destination, with a focus on increasing visitation, overnight stays, foot traffic, visitor spending, and tourism-related economic activity. The Director develops and executes citywide destination marketing strategies, partnerships, promotions, and visitor experiences that expand Winnsboro's reach, strengthen its competitive position, and give visitors compelling reasons to come, stay, spend, explore, and return. Success is measured through visitor activity, marketing performance, foot traffic, tourism-related revenue, and other indicators of destination growth.
