Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated First Class Pre-K Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a vibrant, nurturing classroom environment. In this role, you will be responsible for designing engaging curriculum plans, implementing developmentally appropriate activities, and supporting children's social-emotional growth. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help lay a strong foundation for early childhood education, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with care and professionalism. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development. Collaborate with colleagues to design lesson plans that incorporate standardized testing preparation and early intervention strategies. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining high standards of childcare and childhood development best practices. Incorporate special education techniques to support children with diverse learning needs and ensure inclusive classroom experiences. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education Human environmental science degree with a minimum of 18 course credit hours of early childhood education. Special Education Degree with a minimum of 18 course credit hours of early childhood education. Proven classroom management skills with experience in preschool or daycare settings. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including literacy education, behavior management, and toddler care. Experience working with children in private school or Montessori environments is preferred. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or tutoring activities. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and team members. Background in special education or early intervention programs is a plus. Demonstrated ability to foster child welfare through nurturing care and engaging teaching methods.
