East Valley School of Music (EVSM) — the premier music school in the East Valley — is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Piano Instructor to join our team at our 16‑studio facility in Chandler (4835 S. Arizona Ave., Chandler 85248). Right now, we have an opening for any weekday, and we're looking to hire for at least 3 teaching days. Applicant will need to be available to teach after-school hours from 3:00-8:00 PM on weekdays. Our 4,800 sq ft building features 16 teaching rooms and a dedicated performance hall — a comfortable, organized environment where teachers are valued. We hire instructors as independent contractors , not employees. Music degree strongly preferred. Ability to read music proficiently. Must have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience. Must have a resume and 1 letter of recommendation from a school, teaching studio, or colleague. Must be a U.S. citizen. We cannot hire instructors with temporary work visas. Responsibilities Teach individual piano lessons, primarily to students ages 7-17 Provide instruction in music reading, technique, theory, and performance skills Use curriculum while customizing lessons to each student's needs Follow school policies and collaborate with our teaching team
