MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Valid Arizona Teaching Certification in elementary or secondary education with an endorsement in Art, Dance, Drama or Music OR An AZ Standard Professional Arts Education Certification in Art, Dance, Drama or Music Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card Experience with one or more of the arts disciplines (music, drama, dance, visual arts) Experience with integration of the art form(s) with tested curricular subjects Knowledge of the Arizona State Standards for the Arts Knowledge of the National Arts Standards, current brain-based learning research, and multiple/alternative assessment methods
REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO START DATE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization

Work Calendar:
9.5 month Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits. Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position. Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
