We're looking for a skilled musician who enjoys working with students and can make learning the tuba fun, engaging, and rewarding. Our students range in age and ability, so the ideal instructor will be comfortable teaching beginners as well as more experienced players. What We're Looking For Strong proficiency on tuba Experience teaching private lessons preferred Ability to work with beginning and intermediate students Friendly, patient, dependable, and professional Comfortable working with children and teens Ability to tailor lessons to each student's interests, goals, and learning style Formal music education is a plus, but excellent musicianship and teaching ability are most important About the Position This is a part-time, in-person teaching position at Castro Valley School of Music in Castro Valley, California.
