Ukulele Teacher Castro Valley School of Music is seeking an enthusiastic Ukulele Teacher to lead a small group class for adults. This is a part-time, in-person position teaching up to six students at a time. We're looking for someone who can create a welcoming, relaxed environment where adults feel comfortable learning, making music together, and having fun—no matter their previous musical experience. Responsibilities Lead engaging group ukulele lessons for up to six adults Teach fundamental chords, strumming patterns, rhythm, and popular songs Adapt instruction to different skill levels and learning styles Encourage students and build their confidence Help create a friendly, social atmosphere Communicate clearly with students and school staff Ideal Candidate Strong ukulele skills and a solid understanding of music fundamentals Experience teaching adults or leading group music classes preferred Friendly, patient, dependable, and encouraging Comfortable working with beginners Organized and able to prepare structured, enjoyable lessons Available for a consistent weekly class Position Details Part-time, in-person position Small classes of up to six adults Schedule to be determined based on teacher availability Classes held at Castro Valley School of Music in Castro Valley, California
