Job Summary Method to the Melody is looking for multi-instrumentalists to join our teaching team. Piano and guitar are our biggest need, but we teach all instruments to all ages and levels. You don't need to be a virtuoso on everything. If you're solid on one instrument and still growing on another, we'll pair you with beginner students on that second instrument, so you're getting paid to level up right alongside your students. This position is available immediately at our Concord and El Cerrito locations, with at-home and online lessons too, and real room to grow. Responsibilities Teach individual and group lessons tailored to each student's skill level and interests Build strong fundamentals with students on piano, guitar, and/or your other instruments Create lesson plans that keep kids and adults motivated and progressing Give constructive feedback and track student progress over time Keep lessons fun, safe, and inclusive Grow with us: more hours and advancement as you add instruments and students Experience Previous teaching experience is a plus, but not required Strong on piano and/or guitar strongly preferred; other instruments welcome Comfortable teaching beginners. You just need to be a step or two ahead of your student Good with kids and adults alike Reliable, communicative, and easy to work with

Pay:

$26.00 - $29.00 per hour
